Seeking for an experienced MBOM (Material Bill of Materials) Lead Engineer to join our GVPE team. As the MBOM Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of MBOMs for our products, leading to efficient manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, IT and procurement, to ensure alignment and seamless integration of MBOM data across all departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field is preferred.
- High level of knowledge in Teamcenter, Active Workspace, 3DX, FEDEBOM, BOM-CAD alignment, WERS, PDL/PDO & CMMS3.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Stake-holder Management - Building rapport, continuous collaboration and proficient negotiation will be key and critical skillsets to deliver the expectations of MBOM/Functional Teams.
- Strong desire to Innovate, Explore and Modernize day-to-day tasks / activities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how they relate to BOM structures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an aptitude for quickly grasping and resolving technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Create and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs) from engineering BOMs (EBOMs) for new products.
- Ensure that MBOMs accurately reflects the engineering designs and BOM contents in the Manufacturing perspective.
- Strong knowledge on Features / BoM / EBOM and MBOM
- Collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing functional teams and IT teams to gather necessary information and ensure that MBOMs are comprehensive and up to date.
- Knowledge on BOM and Design related attributes and PMI’s
- Exposure to Software BoM/ Service BOM / CNUM and Bulk materials
- Exposure to Change management process, create and manage Change notices.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all MBOM-related documentation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the MBOM creation and management process.
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in MBOM management.
- Analyze and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to the EBOM / MBOM and communicate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
