**Job Summary**
Position is responsible for supporting, planning and executing internal and external programs for the Meetings & Events Team that facilitate desired business objectives and outcomes. Professional should be self-motivated and capability of coordinating program logistics in a fast-paced environment. The MET associate should have a love for meeting management, provide outstanding customer service and be an enthusiastic professional.
**Essential Duties**
- Works with MET team members and internal business partners to understand program goals and objectives and facilitate supporting meeting strategy and execution.
- Collaborates with Strategic Sourcing to coordinate venue searches and initiate contracts and makes venue recommendation(s) based on most cost effectiveness, best service and value.
- Assists with planning of all event logistics including, but not limited to: hotel room blocks, sourcing, food & beverage, audio visual equipment, entertainment, ground transportation, event signage/graphic needs and décor.
- Researches and plans off-site program activities such as dinners, cruises, golf outings, etc.
- Supports post event reconciliation to include final venue billing, vendor invoices, attendee reports and program budget.
- Travel to programs as needed to provide onsite support and execution.
- Other duties as assigned
**EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS**
- Bachelors Degree
**TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS**
- Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Required
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
- Pleasant demeanor and ability to build relationships with colleagues and external vendors.
**EXPERIENCE**
- 3 to 4 years overall experience
