**Job Title**:Instrument Technician - Captive Power Plant**
**Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh**
**Industry: Steel Manufacturing**
**Department: Power Plant (Instrumentation)**
**Experience: 3-8 years (preferred in steel/power plant)**
**Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering**

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of instruments and control systems in the captive power plant.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate field instruments such as pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, flow meters, and analyzers.
- Support DCS/PLC systems including configuration, testing, and loop checking.
- Maintain documentation of calibration records, maintenance logs, and spares inventory.
- Assist in commissioning of new instrumentation and control systems.
- Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams for integrated system maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and work permit systems.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Hands-on experience in calibration and troubleshooting of field instruments.
- Sound understanding of DCS/PLC systems (Siemens, ABB, Honeywell, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with power plant instrumentation - boiler, turbine, and generator control systems.
- Knowledge of process control loops and P&ID diagrams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.

**Preferred Experience**
- **Prior experience in a Captive Power Plant (10 MW to 100 MW).**:

- **Exposure to steel plant operations and utilities instrumentation.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
