Job Title: CFO-Growth Projects

Role: It's a full time role with experience of 8-10 years required in Consulting / Operations / Accounting advisory.

Location: Goa

Your Employer: It's a a fast-growing technology centric consulting firm. The firm has offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Singapore and is looking to expand across Asia Pacific, South Asia, Middle East and Africa over the next 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Nature of role: Full time
- Number of years of experience expected: 4-10 years
- Areas of past experience preferred: Consulting / Operations / Accounting advisory
- Educational qualification expected: Chartered Accountant / ACCA
- Additional qualifications/ certifications required: IFRS Diploma
- Preferable additional certifications: Financial Risk Management/ Chartered Financial Analyst
- Preferred geography of previous work experience: India / Europe / APAC / US
- Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English

Key responsibility areas:

- Knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.
- Ability to write technical / supervisory memos / advisory documentation.
- Ability to analyses financial statement and suggest treatment for different financial assets / liabilities under different accounting standards
- Provide advisory services to the client on accounting areas such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17 or equivalent local standards
- Accounting treatment for different products as per the local regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Advise clients on high-profile mandates in the financial services space with regards to complex and strategic issues
- Lead and responsible for team mentoring, project management and client delivery
- Drive the day-to-day execution of assigned client projects
- Understand the clients business, key strategic essentials of the client, industry and market dynamics, and make/ implement recommendations appropriate for the clients business needs to drive continuous improvement and generate value
- Stakeholder management in a project along with project management.

Preparation Required:
It is recommended that you prepare on the following aspects before the selection process:

- Understanding of products / exposures in the financial services industry (Banks / NBFC / Insurance)
- Requirements of new accounting standards and changes from the previous versions for standards such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17 or their equivalent local standards
- Financial statement analysis, balance sheet ratios.
