The Finance Controller will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring that financial reporting, controls, and budgeting are in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for managing the company's financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting functions while working closely with senior management to drive financial strategy and maintain financial health.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Management & Reporting**:

- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow statements).
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, presenting regular reports to the CFO and senior management.
- Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working with departmental managers to prepare comprehensive financial plans.
- Develop and implement rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and strategies.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial performance, trends, and projections.
- **Financial Controls & Compliance**:

- Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax filings, audits, and governmental regulations.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, working with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- **Cash Flow & Treasury Management**:

- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to maintain a healthy financial position.
- Develop cash flow projections and manage short-term and long-term financing strategies.
- Oversee the management of banking relationships and ensure appropriate cash management practices.
- **Team Leadership & Development**:

- Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, providing coaching, training, and mentorship.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and financial discipline across the organization.
- **Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis**:

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business opportunities, investments, and potential risks.
- Assist in evaluating business cases for new projects, products, and investments.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify financial risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Work with senior leadership to address potential financial challenges and ensure business continuity.
- **Technology & Process Improvement**:

- Leverage financial systems and technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Continuously assess and improve financial processes, policies, and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required); CPA, CMA, or MBA (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial management or controlling roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Experience in managing corporate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience in audit and compliance-related matters.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
