**Logistic Freight Agent OUTBOUND VOICE PROCESS - To Make SALES calls and build **a **new shippers base.**

**We are hiring Freight **Agent for **our **logistics **company in Mohali with **the **following requirements**:
**What **do **you have to do ?**

**What is Your Job Role -?**

**Your job role is to - **Generate leads from the database, one has to call customers ( Companies to approach them by speaking with Company logistic manager / freight manager) and convert them to sales by convincing them to use our logistic / freight broker services for their Business.
- **Also you have to** **acquire new business through prospecting, cold calling, etc.**
- **Also one has to Negotiate with shipping carriers (TRUCKING ) and negotiate the best rates and services for our customers.**

**Explanation -**

1. A freight( logistic) broker is a middle person between a shipper(any company ) who has goods to transport and a carrier (trucking company) who has capacity to move that freight.

**Responsibilities**
- To Make Sales calls and build new shippers base.
- Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a Sales pipeline
- Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services
- Providing customers with shipping quotes
- Booking orders with carriers
- Assisting to prepare carriers for loads.
- Tracking status of loads
- Collaborating with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs
- Keeping accurate records of relevant activities
- Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.
- Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in transportation marketplace.

**Salary**: 12,000 to 60,000 (per month

Location : Mohali, Punjab

**Requirements**:

- Experience High School Diploma or suitable equivalent.
- 1+ years of work experience as a freight agent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
- American accent will be advantage.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Proficient negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
