**Job Summary**:
IIM Skills seeks a dedicated and resourceful Placement Officer to drive and manage student placements. The Placement Officer will build strong relationships with industry partners, coordinate placement activities, and support students in their job search. This role is key to ensuring successful placement outcomes and building our reputation as a top destination for skilled graduates.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Placement Coordination**:
- Develop and maintain relationships with hiring partners to ensure a steady stream of placement opportunities for students.
- Coordinate with industry partners to understand their hiring needs and align them with student profiles.
- Organize campus placement drives, job fairs, and recruitment events.
- **Student Guidance and Support**:
- Provide one-on-one counseling, resume reviews, and interview preparation sessions for students.
- Conduct placement training workshops covering CV building, interview techniques, and soft skills.
- Track student placement progress and provide regular updates to management.
- **Relationship Management**:
- Maintain relationships with existing recruitment firms and industry professionals.
- Actively reach out to potential employers to explore new placement opportunities.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for recruiters and manage communication effectively.
- **Database and Reporting**:
- Maintain an organized database of students, alumni, and employer contacts.
- Prepare regular reports on placement activities, success rates, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze placement data to optimize future placement strategies.
- **Compliance and Coordination**:
- Ensure that all placement activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with academic departments to ensure student readiness for placement.
- Manage logístical aspects of placement drives, including scheduling and venue arrangements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in placement coordination, career counseling, or recruitment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet placement targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with HR/placement management software is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
