Freelinker is seeking an experienced **Salesforce DevOps / Release Manager** to lead and manage deployment pipelines, enforce quality standards, and automate release processes across multiple Salesforce environments. This is a **technical and strategic role** requiring expertise in **CI/CD automation**, **source-driven deployments**, and **Salesforce metadata management**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage end-to-end **Salesforce release and deployment cycles** across multiple environments.
- Implement and maintain **Source-Driven Deployment** and **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** practices.
- Configure and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** using **GitLab** or similar tools.
- Handle **Salesforce Metadata Deployments** using CLI tools, Metadata API, or ANT.
- Build and manage **Salesforce packages** (1GP, 2GP - both Managed and Unmanaged).
- Develop automation scripts using **YAML**, **Python**, or **Bash** (YAML and Python preferred).
- Define and enforce **quality gates** and policies throughout the release lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with **Development**, **QA**, and **Operations** teams to coordinate deployment schedules.
- Conduct **root-cause analysis** and resolve deployment failures with proper documentation.
- Champion best practices in **version control**, **branching strategy**, and **DevOps culture**.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Minimum **7 years** of experience in **Salesforce DevOps / Release Management** roles.
- Proven expertise in **source-driven development** and **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**.
- Strong hands-on experience with **GitLab CI/CD**, **Salesforce CLI**, and deployment automation.
- In-depth knowledge of **Salesforce Metadata API**, **ANT**, and **deployment strategies**.
- Solid understanding of **Salesforce package development** (1GP and 2GP).
- Advanced scripting skills using **Python**, **YAML**, or **Bash** (strong preference for YAML/Python).
- Experience implementing **quality gates** in CI/CD workflows.
- Strong analytical and **problem-solving skills**.
- Excellent **communication** skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Salesforce DevOps certifications or Salesforce Platform Developer credentials.
- Prior experience in Agile environments and working with globally distributed teams.
- Exposure to tools like Copado, Gearset, or Flosum (optional).
