Associate - I, Performance & GIPS - Nuveen Global Investment Operations

The Performance Associate will primarily will be responsible for the preparation of analytics data needed by Portfolio Management, Investment Oversight, Marketing, Client Service, Legal/Compliance, and additional areas within the enterprise. In addition to analytics support, the Performance Associate will participate in improvement of a performance system as well as projects which arise in support of the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Support reporting needs for investment performance, characteristics and risk statistics
- Maintain performance measurement system for calculation of portfolio returns and statistics
- Troubleshoot and explain the performance results and remediate errors.
- Operate under an environment where performance results are consistent with Global Investment Performance Standard (GIPS) requirements.
- Develop, automate, and enhance performance reports
- Communicate with various departments
- Utilize multiple tools (both proprietary and third party) to gather information

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required

Work Experience
- 4+ years Required

Physical Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Career Level

Required Exp
- 6-8 Yrs

Asset Management Industry background is prefer.

Key words to look for: Attribution analysis, Performance Analytics, Return/Risk reporting, Contribution Analysis. Performance Methodologies(MWRR VS TWRR), GIPS definition and significance.

Certification: CIPM (preferred even level 1 would be fine). CFA(Any level).

Application: FactSet(Preferred, Exp on Attribution Module will be plus). BBG Port, SQL and Morningstar(Good to have).
