Bim Coordinator

**Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Ensure proper execution of works by monitoring project progress and team performance to deliver the project on time while maintaining the cost and quality parameters to meet Appointing Party’s objectives and requirements.
- Coordinate and Assist BIM Manager on the overall use of BIM within the Units and for the multidisciplinary Project.
- Assist the BIM Manager in managing the Project supply chain to deliver high-quality information, data and models to the Appointing Party and ensure the delivery of information to the Appointing Party’s team and supply chain is in line with contract requirements.
- Ensure QA/QC and Audit processes are performed on a regular basis on Contractor’s BIM deliverables against the Appointing Party EIR.
- Assist and support the BIM Manager on the Implementation and Administration of Building Information Management (BIM) systems.
- Assist on Clash Detection Processes and Reporting, BIM Quality Control Plans, BIM Review Procedures, Construction Sequencing & Logistics (4D), Cost Estimation & Scheduling (5D), and Asset Management BIM Implementation (COBie).
- Support the BIM Manager in ensuring that all Contractor BIM models related to facility operations have all the information gathered during the construction phase related to amenities & facilities and that easy and clear access to all the required information is available to facilitate maintenance.
- Support the BIM Manager on the Configuration, Maintenance and Administration of the project CDE (Common Data Environment) to enable the effective management, tracking, and monitoring of deliverables.
- Ensure the implementation of openBIM standards such as (IFC or buildingSMART), and international standards such as (BS EN ISO 19650 or PAS1192 series).
- Ensure the Contractor follows proper integration of other data sources, such as GIS and PMIS, with the BIM data to provide Facilities Management, Asset Management and Smart Destination capabilities.
- Coordinate BIM issues with the supply chain to develop and reinforce standards to refine Models and deliverables.
- Assist in BIM implementation, Standards, workflow & methodologies during project supervision/construction and handover.
- Assist in managing all legal implications of delivering good practice BIM and develop specific BIM protocols and legal frameworks to drive contract creation.
- Identify and Detect any potential opportunity/risk for the Project or the Team.
- Actual Hands-on capabilities in creating Templates, High-Level BIM Families, Shared Parameters, Scheduling and BIM Modelling in general.
- Reporting to the BIM Manager, Project Manager, and Project Director and Appointing Party representatives in a structured manner. Minimum content to include but not limited to BIM Issue Tracker, Audit Reports from BIM for Clash Detection, in-progress and completed including results Status of Model Development according to trade, work breakdown structure identifier (phasing), cost categories, submittal/shop drawing integration, and project close-out requirements.
- Assist with the upskilling of the Project Team.

**What You'll Need**
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant Engineering or Architectural field.
- **Minimum of 5 years of broad experience** in design, drafting and BIM management on large-scale projects.
- **Mandatory proficiency** in Autodesk **Revit **and **AutoCAD Civil 3D **BIM authoring tools**.**:

- **Mandatory proficiency** in** **Autodesk **Navisworks Manage**.
- **Mandatory proficiency **on **BIM360 **and** ACONEX **Environment.
- Proficiency in Dynamo** **scripting tools would be of advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of BS 8536, PAS 1192, and ISO 19650 series.
- **Strong knowledge of **COBie** implementation/delivery at **LOD 500 **and **4D**,5D, etc., deliverables**.
- Experience working within a multi-national working environment would be beneficial.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- **Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems**.
