Roles and Responsibilities:
 Collaborate with the director, creative producer, art designer and graphics designer to discuss and understand the production's vision

 Review raw material to determine which shots to use in the final film

 Trim and rearrange footage to enhance the video's overall quality and flow

 Create the rough draft and share it with the director for feedback

 Manipulate and edit video and film footage using modern editing techniques and tools

 Maintain continuity while moving shots

 Color-correct the video to improve the viewer's visual experience

 Ensure that the edited film follows a logical sequence.

 Communicate with the director, assistant directors and production team throughout the project

 Create and review the final cut before releasing it.

 Manage and organize video files following proper naming conventions and storage procedures

 Deliver high-quality video films within their deadlines

 Adhere to style guidelines and maintain a consistent brand image as the director and producer require

 Stay updated on industry trends, new editing techniques and popular tools to enhance creativity and productivity

**Requirements**:
 A bachelor's degree or certification in video editing, film production, multimedia, visual communication or a related field

 Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightworks or Avid Media Composer

 Knowledge of video formats, codecs and containers

 Thorough understanding of video editing and production principles, such as color grading and composition

 Familiarity with visual effects and motion graphics.

 Prior experience as a video editor, either in a professional setting or as a freelancer

 A portfolio showcasing previous video editing projects demonstrating your proficiency in different genres, styles and techniques

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Video Editing: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
