**Reports To**: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

**Job Summary**: The Electrical Maintenance Technician will assist in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a basic understanding of electrical principles and the ability to work under the guidance of experienced electricians to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems within the facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Support electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventive maintenance.
- Help in the inspection of electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Document maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in the preparation of materials and tools required for electrical projects.

**Qualifications**:

- ITI diploma in Electrical or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

**Skills**:

- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Familiarity with electrical tools and equipment.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position.
- May require working outside regular business hours.
