**Position**:Die Shop Technician

**Location**: Saudi Arabia

**Salary**: 1500 SAR

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Die Maintenance & Repair**:

- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of dies and tooling used in production.
- Inspect and test dies for wear, damage, or defects, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Ensure dies are ready for use by cleaning, adjusting, and reassembling parts as needed.
- **Die Modifications and Improvements**:

- Modify and improve existing dies to enhance performance, increase efficiency, or address production issues.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to implement die design changes or new specifications.
- Collaborate in the design and fabrication of new dies or tools as required by production needs.
- **Tooling Setup & Support**:

- Assist with the setup of dies and tooling for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations by providing tooling support.
- Monitor die performance during production runs, making adjustments as necessary.
- **Quality Control & Inspection**:

- Conduct visual inspections and use precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure dies meet quality standards.
- Ensure that dies are within tolerances and specifications required for production processes.
- Record inspection and maintenance results and provide feedback to relevant departments on any issues.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices when handling dies, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure the die shop environment is clean and organized, in compliance with safety regulations.
- Participate in safety training programs and safety audits as required.
- **Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and resolve any die-related issues that may arise during the production process, minimizing downtime.
- Work closely with the production team to identify causes of defects, tooling issues, or inefficiencies related to the dies.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of die maintenance, repairs, modifications, and inventory of tooling supplies.
- Assist in generating reports related to die shop activities, including maintenance schedules, tooling performance, and quality checks.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest improvements to die design, tooling processes, and shop operations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or a vocational degree in toolmaking, machining, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in die shop operations, tooling, or related manufacturing fields.
- Strong knowledge of die maintenance, repair, and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
