Job Description: Purchase Intern (Real Estate)

Position: Purchase Intern

Department: Procurement/Purchasing

Location: Andheri west

Reports To: Procurement Manager / Purchasing Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Intern to join our team in the Real Estate sector. As a Purchase Intern, you will assist the procurement team in sourcing, acquiring, and managing materials, services, and supplies needed for real estate development and property management. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate procurement and purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers/vendors for materials and services used in real estate projects.
- Help prepare purchase orders, track orders, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Support the purchasing team in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers and contractors.
- Assist in managing inventory and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to the project site.
- Conduct market research on new suppliers and products in the real estate industry.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, budgets, and cost savings initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining and updating vendor contracts and supplier databases.
- Support the team in resolving any issues related to delayed or incorrect deliveries.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and preparing documentation for audits.

Qualifications:

- Recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
