**PLACEMENT OFFICER - OPERATIONS** This position is for Seamedu - School of Pro Expressionism, a division of Seamless Education and Services Pvt. Ltd (SEAS) which has 2 divisions: **Seamedu - School of Pro Expressionism** is a Media, Technology and Management school producing world class talent for the industry. Seamedu has campuses in Pune, Gurgaon and Bangalore. To **Job Title / Designation: Placement Officer** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Placement Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, obtain employment and experiential opportunities in engineering & Management fields for students enrolled in relevant programs of the college. Your primary responsibility will be to counsel, prepare and enhance hiring potential of students, new graduates into the job market and to assist in the internships and placement of students. **Responsibilities**: **Placements & Internships** - To improve the quality of placements in terms of job opportunities, quality of companies - Responsible for organizing summer and winter internships in companies that are most likely to offer conversion into final placements with PPO in highest package and more of PPO companies. - To collect the job announcement/description - requirements, job details, and specifications from organization and share the same with the students - in a timely manner. **Corporate relationship & coordination** - Key task is to bring in new clientele and manage relationships with existing corporate clients - Invite for campus interview/online interview - Follow up hiring steps to receive placement confirmation, joining date, offer letter, etc. - To share the data base of eligible aspirants to the prospective companies based on the stipulated criteria - Sharing industry feedback, trends, and expectations with students and leadership **Career Guidance** - Counsel students regularly to ensure job acceptance rate increases - Advocate students skills level to match-up the jobs available in the market - Guide students for successful result at the interview, before the interview process starts - To assist students from Interview to on-boarding, complete student career cycle. - Collaborate with the Heads of the Department & Deans **Training & skill development** - Should organize seminars and pep talks by inviting Industry Veterans. Planning, monitoring, and execution of Skill Training for various Schools - Arrange Industry Visits, Guest Lectures and On Job Training for the students’ community - To arrange skill development training for students such as soft skills, communication, interview skill, mock interviews, interpersonal skill etc. - Design and deliver training for students in consultation with the Leadership and faculties. **General management** - To plan and engage with corporates for strategic activities including guest lectures, panel discussions, conclaves, workshops, competitions, etc. - To work with key stakeholders including Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing & Admissions teams to achieve both career services and larger University objectives. - To assist the publication of the department’s periodic newsletter and blog **Annual CTC**:Not a Constraint for the right person **Location(s) of Job**: Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Lohegaon **Minimum/ Work Experience Required**: 2-4 years **Requirements**: - Post Graduate in any stream - Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills - Adopt in using MS suites with proficiency in MS Excel - Ability to handle requirements of (Engineering, MCA, Management ) placements - Willingness to travel to university or even visit companies as per professional requirements.
