Faculty Position Inthe Centre for Entrepreneurship

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is an interdisciplinary centre that serves all schools of the University. Its core mandate is to fulfil the mission of the University by balancing education with experience through entrepreneurial projects that aim to solve society’s complex challenges. As a member of the prestigious Babson College Collaborative, the centre seeks to create pathways to entrepreneurship by providing students, alums, and faculty with the skills, tools, and mindset required to be enterprising.
CEI has set up the Atal Incubation Centre with the help of Atal Innovation Mission-NITI AAYOG, and GoI, and is incubating start-ups.
In addition to offering various entrepreneurship courses within the existing programs, CEI is launching a BBA in Entrepreneurship & Family Business Management for the Academic Year 2025.
Research & Publication:
- Conducted entrepreneurship research and published it in peer-reviewed journals.
- Secure external funding and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects.
Teaching & Curriculum Development:
- Develop and teach entrepreneurship and innovation courses (e.g., tech entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial finance, lean methodology).
- Use experiential pedagogies and mentor students.
Mentorship & Leadership:
- Mentor graduate students and junior faculty, guiding research and professional growth.
- Contribute to the development of the entrepreneurship program.
Outreach & Professional Development:
- Engage with the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and participate in university committees.
- Stay current with trends by attending events and building a professional network.
Required Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or related field (or extensive relevant experience for Practice positions).
- Strong research record with significant publications in reputable journals.
- Proven success in securing external research funding and grants.
- Excellence in teaching with experience in curriculum development and innovative pedagogical methods.
- Commitment to mentoring students and leadership in collaborative academic environments.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with external stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
