**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Asset Management & Optimization**
- Manage the lifecycle of software assets, including procurement, deployment, monitoring, renewal, and decommissioning.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date inventory of all software licenses and assets across the organization.
- Optimize software license usage to maximize value and minimize costs.

**Compliance & Risk Management**
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address non-compliance or unauthorized usage.
- Serve as the primary contact for software audits conducted by vendors or third-party organizations.

**Vendor & Stakeholder Management**
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and procurement teams to negotiate software contracts, licenses, and renewals.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align software usage with business needs.

**Policy Development & Governance**
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for software asset management.
- Implement controls to reduce software compliance risks and enhance security.

**Data Analysis & Reporting**
- Analyze software usage patterns and provide recommendations to optimize licensing.
- Generate reports on software compliance, cost savings, and asset utilization for senior management.

**S**kills**

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.

3 to 4 years of experience in software asset management, IT asset management, or related roles.

Strong knowledge of software licensing models, contracts, and compliance frameworks (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle).

Proficiency in SAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow License Manager).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Familiarity with ITIL framework and ISO/IEC 19770 standards is a plus.
