We produce a podcast that dives deep into topics across science, politics, philosophy, and beyond. Our goal is to maintain a highly organized and efficient workflow to support the show’s continued growth and reach. We are seeking a dedicated **business administrator** who can help manage operations, coordinate content scheduling, organize data, oversee social media logistics, and perform research to enhance our team’s efficiency.
**Position Overview**
This role requires a highly organized and motivated individual who can **manage administrative tasks, schedule content releases, support social media operations, and perform research**. You will be working closely with the production team to ensure smooth scheduling, database management, and workflow optimization.
**Responsibilities**
**1. Administrative & Organizational Tasks**
- Schedule and coordinate content releases across platforms like YouTube, podcast directories, and social media.
- Organize and maintain databases related to guests, episodes, research materials, and social media metrics.
- Provide daily summaries of completed work and logged hours to ensure transparent workflow tracking.
- Assist with logistics for guest bookings, team meetings, and podcast production planning.
**2. Research & Market Analysis**
- Conduct research to identify potential guests, trending topics, and audience growth strategies.
- Analyze social media and podcasting trends to refine our outreach and engagement tactics.
- Gather and organize research for interviews, ensuring that the host has access to high-quality, relevant information.
**3. Social Media Support & Management**
- Help coordinate social media strategy and scheduling across multiple platforms.
- Track engagement metrics and compile reports on social media growth and audience interaction.
- Work with the editing and content teams to ensure timely and effective social media posts.
**4. Miscellaneous Tasks & Team Collaboration**
- Adapt to various roles within the team as needed, assisting with project coordination, communication, and workflow management.
- Contribute creative and strategic insights to improve operational efficiency and audience engagement.
- Assist in managing internal communications and structuring team workflows.
**Requirements**:
**Hard Skills**
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and content scheduling.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
**Soft Skills**
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, and effective communication skills.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative roles, project management, or operations.
- Background in media, entertainment, or communications is a plus.
- Experience with research and data organization.
**Compensation and Benefits**
Pay will scale with experience and the growth of the company. We have no ceiling for pay in mind, and if someone is willing to grow with the company and do excellent work, they will be compensated accordingly.
