**Job Title: Housekeeping**
**Location: Prakash Nagar, Begumpet.**
**Timing: 8:00 Am to 6:30 Pm**
**Working days: Monday to Saturday**
**Holidays: Second Saturday, Fourth Saturday, All Sundays.**
**Position Overview**: The housekeeping department plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in various establishments such as hotels, hospitals, offices, residential buildings, and more. As a housekeeper, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all assigned areas are kept clean, organized, and presentable. You will work under the supervision of a housekeeping supervisor or manager, following established protocols and procedures to deliver high-quality cleaning services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Cleaning and Sanitizing**: Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, lobbies, hallways, and other designated spaces. This involves dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
**Linen and Laundry Management**: Collect, sort, and process linen and laundry items, ensuring they are properly cleaned, folded, and stored. Replace bed linens, towels, and other supplies as needed to maintain an adequate inventory.
**Room Setup**: Prepare guest rooms, conference rooms, or other designated spaces by arranging furniture, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all necessary supplies are in place. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill specific requirements for events or special occasions.
**Waste Management**: Properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials according to established guidelines. Regularly empty and clean waste containers to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
**Inventory Control**: Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items, and report any shortages to the supervisor. Assist in the procurement process by providing input on supply needs and ensuring items are properly stored and utilized.
**Reporting and Documentation**: Keep accurate records of daily tasks, including completed work, inventory usage, and maintenance issues. Report any damages, maintenance requirements, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
**Adherence to Safety Standards**: Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and promptly report any accidents or injuries.
**Customer Service**: Interact with guests, residents, or employees in a courteous and professional manner. Address their inquiries, concerns, or requests promptly and provide assistance whenever necessary.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Ø High school diploma or equivalent.
Ø Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not always required.
Ø Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Ø Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ø Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Ø Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹35,045.21 per month
