**Supply Chain & Logistics Lead**

**Location - Coimbatore**

You will be responsible to arrange best possible and most cost effective transport for all supplies originating from south India and ensuring that all supplies are delivered safely and securely to destination within the required time frame and trackable.

**Responsibilities**
- Evaluate transporters, logistics and logistics aggregators across South India, establish relationship with them, and work closely with them and be in regular touch with them.
- Propose prospective partners and establish partnerships with multiple supply chain and logistics companies and aggregators.
- First and primary contact point with all transporters, Logistics, Supply chain companies and aggregators.
- Profile all Transporters, Logistics, Supply chain companies and aggregators and be the primary decision maker in engaging the right and most cost effective transport and logistics option for all supplies.
- Negotiate freights with transporters, supply chain, Logistics companies and aggregators for all supplies.
- Standardize and ensure long term freight and volume contracts with suitable transporters, supply chain, logistics companies and aggregators.
- Ensure trackability and tracking of all supplies and ensure constant update of trackability link or tracking info to supply chain team.
- Handle any liasioning or interference of government agencies in the transport and logistics of goods.
- Handle all grievances of transporters, logistics, supply chain partners and associates and ensure quick resolution of same.
- Ensure that Buyofuel is able to arrange supplies for most of the orders placed on Buyofuel and that the % of Supplies for which logistics and transport are arranged by Buyofuel continuously increase month on month.
- Prepare and submit all necessary reports required by Buyofuel management to evaluate logistics and supply chain function
- Collect and keep all information ready on all logistics and transport arranged by Buyofuel
- Data management &Daily MIS for transport and logistics function in South India.

**Skills & Experience (1-4 Years)**
- Graduate with strong experience in handling logistics across South India
- Strong network with transporters, Logistics companies and logistics aggregators across South India.
- Good analytical skills, well read and informed on supply chain and logistics
- Basic Knowledge of the most popular Microsoft Office programs is necessary.

**Remarks**

Leadership and hard work capabilities along with good knowledge and network in transport, logistics and supply chain functions, sound knowledge on good contacts and experience in logistics, supply chain and transport sector in South will be very helpful. Readiness to travel regularly as per job requirement in order to fulfil job functions is necessary.

Pay: From ₹195,826.51 per year
