The Clinical Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of clinical and administrative functions within the healthcare setting. This role ensures the efficient coordination of patient care, staff support, compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintenance of a smooth workflow. The Clinical Administrator serves as a liaison between medical staff, administrative personnel, and patients to ensure quality care and operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:Administrative Management**:
- Oversee the scheduling, training, and supervision of administrative and clinical staff.
- Ensure efficient operation of front office functions, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and billing processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files, staff credentials, and organizational compliance documentation.
**Clinical Operations**:
- Coordinate clinical schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and staff coverage.
- Monitor and address patient flow, ensuring mínimal wait times and high levels of patient satisfaction.
- Work with medical professionals to streamline processes and implement best practices in patient care delivery.
**Compliance and Risk Management**:
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
- Develop and enforce infection control measures and other safety protocols.
**Financial Oversight**:
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor clinic expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Manage billing and coding processes to optimize reimbursement and minimize errors.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve billing and claims issues.
**Team Leadership and Collaboration**:
- Foster a positive workplace culture, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Facilitate regular staff meetings to communicate organizational goals, address concerns, and provide updates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated patient or staff issues.
**Qualifications and Skills:Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical or administrative healthcare roles, with leadership experience preferred.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare management software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Leadership and team-building abilities to inspire and motivate staff.
**Work Environment**:
- Work is typically performed in a clinical office setting.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours to address organizational needs.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
