**Freight Forwarder Job Description**:
**Position: Freight Forwarder**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the end-to-end shipment process, ensuring timely and accurate documentation for both import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers, Custom agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo movement.
- Stay updated on customs Clearance regulations and ensures compliance with import/export laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit required documentation to customs authorities.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing them with updates on the status of their shipments.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Negotiate freight rates with service providers to optimize cost-effectiveness for clients and the company.
- Determine the most efficient and cost-effective routes for shipments.
- Work closely with carriers to secure suitable transportation options.
- Utilize tracking systems to monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Address and resolve any challenges or delays that may arise during the shipping process.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar logistics role.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in relevant software and tracking systems.

**Income - Upto USD 5000/Month or Rs 49,80,000 per Annum**
