- Sales and Lead Generation:
- Proactively identify and follow up on new sales leads through various channels, including walk-ins, phone inquiries, digital platforms, and community outreach.
- Conduct compelling and informative tours of the gym facility, highlighting its features, equipment, and classes.
- Present various membership packages, personal training options, and other services to prospective members.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to overcome objections and close deals.
- Track and manage all sales activities and customer information using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Customer Service and Member Retention:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all potential and existing members, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist new members with the enrollment process, including paperwork, payment processing, and system registration.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming gym environment that encourages member engagement and retention.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Participate in and execute internal and external marketing activities and events to generate leads.
- Work with the marketing team to promote special offers and new programs to attract a wider audience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and the latest fitness innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with the gym manager and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. A degree in a fitness-related field, business, or marketing is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in a sales-oriented role, preferably in the fitness, hospitality, or retail industry. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is highly desirable.
