**About Lighthouse Communities Foundation**

Lighthouse Communities Foundation (LCF) is a non-profit organization focused on empowering youth from underserved communities through skilling and livelihood programs. We partner with governments, corporates, NGOs, and citizens to create inclusive, community-based change.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a **passionate Outreach Coordinator** to lead community engagement efforts in low-income areas of Pune. You will be the bridge between the Lighthouse Centre and the community — building trust, encouraging enrolment, and supporting youth throughout their development journey.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Engage directly with youth and families in slum communities to promote Lighthouse programs
- Build strong, ongoing relationships to foster trust and sustained participation
- Drive enrolments by explaining program benefits and eligibility criteria
- Conduct home visits and provide personalized follow-up to reduce dropouts
- Assist with household/community mapping using tools like **GIS or Google Maps**:

- Coordinate with local leaders, stakeholders, and government officials for outreach support
- Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and community feedback
- Support other program activities and events as part of the Lighthouse team
- Uphold the values of **empathy, inclusion, and youth empowerment** in all interactions

**What We’re Looking For**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Master’s degree in **Social Work (MSW)** or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in **community mobilization**, preferably in youth development, skilling, or education programs

**Skills & Attributes**
- Strong communication skills in **English, Hindi, and Marathi**:

- Confident, empathetic, and community-oriented
- Comfortable with fieldwork and building rapport in informal settlements
- Basic tech skills - MS Office, mobile apps; **GIS mapping experience is a plus**:

- Ability to work independently and handle challenging situations on the ground
- Willingness to **travel within assigned communities in Pune**
