**_Outreach Coordinator (Strategy, Content and Field)_**

Kashtakari Panchayat Trust, a leading organisation working towards improved livelihoods for waste pickers and brighter future for their children, is looking for an Outreach Coordinator. In this role, you would build creative and engaging content for various digital and offline platforms. You would find, write, curate and present inspiring stories of the unfailing courage of waste pickers. You would observe their life journey closely and bring it forward to the mainstream. You’d also take part in building social media and online presence strategy for Kashtakari Panchayat(KP).

Most importantly, you would engage creatively and proactively in building consistent communication about the core values of improving waste pickers’ welfare and livelihoods.

**_You are good at: _**
- Communicating with people from varied backgrounds and gathering their stories for social media, press and other online/offline relevant platforms.
- Planning and developing content for social media campaigns primarily in English and Marathi.
- Presenting information and data in an easy-to-understand and engaging way.
- Understanding social media trends and using them for KP communication.
- Using Excel, Google Sheets and editing tools like Canva.
- Actively communicating with people on and off the field.
- Blogging on a platform like WordPress or having the willingness to learn WordPress.
- Out-of-box thinking and data-driven approach
- Smartphone photography

**_You are also good at: _**
- Understanding the intent of communication and using various platforms relevantly and creatively
- Analysing work to improve and evolve the communication strategy
- Communicating with external consultants and experts when required

**_You have: _**
- A degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies/Languages/Journalism
- Experience of 0-2 years in outreach and communication
- Capacity to work in a team and also independently
- Willingness to travel on a two-wheeler across Pune to capture stories and events
- Ability and willingness to understand concerns of waste pickers and their children
- An eye for stories that could elevate waste pickers’ presence in media.
