**Roles** & Responsibilities**:

- The primary role of an Estimator includes calculating the budget based on the consumer’s requirement and preparing an effective budget estimate to assist Lead Estimator.
- Also develop strong relationships with intra departments within the company to ensure everyone is working toward the same targets and goals.
- Bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects work.
- Assist in establishing a client’s requirements.
- Advise on a procurement strategy.
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Develop risk assessments and pricing structures for the products to work toward commercial efforts.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new contracts.
- Analyse data and generate reports to identify potential for business growth.
- Developing strategic plans to encourage business growth.
- Ability to delegate tasks and supervise others.
- Great multi-tasking abilities and attention to details.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline (Electrical or Electronics Engineering function) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering estimation, rate analysis, report preparation, risk analysis and Commercial bid preparation. (Substation only).
- Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines.
