Job Description: Network Administrator (Physical and Cloud Infrastructure) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's hybrid network infrastructure across physical systems and cloud environments (AWS & GCP). This role requires expertise in policy-based routing, IPSec VPNs, MPLS, core connectivity, and hybrid cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless integration, security, and performance of on-premises and cloud-based networks. Requirements Unified Network Administration (Physical and Cloud) Network Design and Deployment: Architect, implement, and maintain secure and scalable networks for physical and cloud platforms (AWS & GCP). Integrate on-premises and cloud networks to create seamless hybrid infrastructure using VPNs, MPLS, and cross-connect solutions. Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Monitor and optimize network performance across environments using advanced tools. Analyze traffic patterns to ensure efficient routing and mínimal latency. Network Security and Compliance: Implement and manage IPSec VPNs, firewalls, and access controls across physical and cloud networks. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Core Connectivity and Cross-Platform Integration: Manage policy-based routing, MPLS links, and core connectivity for hybrid operations. Configure and optimize direct connections between data centers, AWS, and GCP using services like AWS Direct Connect and GCP Interconnect. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Utilize tools such as Wire shark for network analysis and troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and cloud providers to address connectivity issues and optimize performance Physical Network Administration Configure and maintain on-premises hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Manage VLANs, QoS, and structured cabling for efficient traffic flow. Handle patch management, backup configurations, and disaster recovery planning Cloud Network Administration (AWS & GCP) AWS and GCP Networking: Design, deploy, and maintain VPCs, load balancers, DNS services, and firewall rules for both platforms. Set up and manage secure VPNs for hybrid cloud connectivity. Cloud Integration and Hybrid Connectivity: Implement Direct Connect (AWS) and Cloud Interconnect (GCP) for high-speed, low-latency connections. Optimize traffic routing and redundancy between AWS, GCP, and on-premises networks. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4+ years of experience managing complex physical and cloud-based network infrastructure Certifications: Preferred: CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or similar Technical Skills: Expertise in policy-based routing, IPSec VPNs, MPLS, and core connectivity. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS & GCP), including networking services. Proficiency with network diagnostic tools like Wireshark. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and hybrid cloud connectivity Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. Team player with a proactive approach to system optimization
