**Supporting Actions**

1) Planning
- Analysing and reporting post operations

activities for daily planning
- Assisting in preparation of OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Marine Operations
- Fenders maintenance & round the fenders availability.
- Jetty safety & environment compliances.
- Ships safe navigation & safe berth stay of ships.
- Jetty Expansion Projects.
- Dredging Activity.

2) Operational Excellence
- Tracking and reporting implementation of SOPs
- Monitoring daily volumes of cargo
- discharge at target rates across shifts
- Monitoring budgeted berth occupancy ratio, budgeted berth stay of DHIL and other efficiencies during daily post operations.
- Ensuring integration with ERP system.
- Ensure safe and effective Marine activities and equipment.
- To perform duties as 02nd line manager in the department.

3) Budgetary Controls
- Monitoring vessel dispatch to maximize dispatch earnings
- Ensuring Nil Demurrage

4) Compliance
- Port / shipping technical/strategy expertise and liasoning with all govt. officials.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance of all health, safety and environment parameters as per Organizational norms and statutory guidelines
- Ensure full compliance with national and international maritime laws and port-specific regulations.
- Monitoring and ensuring safety incident reporting across shifts to minimize incidents and eliminate accidents
- Reporting safety incidents in the system
- Daily waste management/Ship disposal, clearance from environment team etc.
- MARPOL Regulations including safe disposal of hazardous waste.
- Ensuring compliance with the ISPS Code
- International and national maritime regulations (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL)

5) Customer-centricity
- Monitoring, reporting and contributing to the achievement of turnaround of each berthed ship within the budgeted number of days
- Monitoring spillage of cargo during cargo operations towards eliminating the same
- Ensuring nil damage to the vessel
- Minimizing internal and external response time

6) Sustainability and Process Improvement
- Participating in improvements initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, WCM etc.
- Ensuring good housekeeping
- Partnering in the creation and

maintenance of green belt

7) People development and engagement
- Ensuring optimum deployment and improving performance of team members Ensuring technical and behavioural training of own personnel
- Facilitating continuous training in health, safety and environment standards for own and contractual workforce

- Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) Competency

- Expertise in Port & Marine Operations
- Understanding of stevedoring operations, Port Equipment handling, material handling system and yard management
- Domain knowledge with respect to management of port & Marine operations
