Job Category Liquid About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Ports SEZ Over the past few years we have evolved from a traditional port operator to a leading integrated ports services provider As the largest port organization for the past two decades we offer a wide range of services including cargo handling container terminal operations logistics port infrastructure development and maintenance Our expertise extends to multimodal transport solutions customs clearance port security and environmental sustainability positioning us as a key player in global trade and logistics Job Purpose Lead - Automation - LT is instrumental in managing and ensuring the efficient operation and safety of the automated systems and equipment at the Liquid Terminal it also involves regular testing data analysis and maintenance to uphold the reliability and effectiveness of the automation infrastructure B23 Responsibilities Data Analysis and Interpretation Analyze data from system-generated reports to identify irregularities and opportunities for operational improvements and enhanced safety measures Liquid Terminal Automation Operations Manage the automated operations of TLF vessels and systems such as TAS TFMS CCTV DCS EPKS and TTES focusing on safety timely issue resolution and hardware software coordination Vendor Management Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests FAT and Site Acceptance Tests SAT with vendors to confirm the performance of equipment and ensure it meets strategic objectives Client Relations Interact with clients to demonstrate automation systems respond to inquiries and maintain strong client relationships Performance Reporting Compile KRA and KPI reports to support strategic decision-making and guide the organization s direction Routine Testing and System Monitoring Conduct regular testing of interlock systems emergency shutdown systems valves and field instruments to verify proper function and safety compliance Monitor system logs and trends to ensure infrastructure operates within safe limits Team Leadership Manage team schedules and performance ensuring continuous coverage and optimal productivity Guide SCADA operators in their daily tasks address issues swiftly and assess competencies to maintain team proficiency Logic Verification Collaborate with third-party vendors on logic development and testing to confirm system performance Project Management Actively engage in automation projects from inception to completion ensuring the seamless integration of new systems into existing operations Training and Development Lead training initiatives for subordinates and third-party staff on Automation System operations and developments ensuring a knowledgeable and capable workforce Digital Mindset Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness Team Development Promote a respectful and safe workplace lead collaborative and productive teams and mentor for growth and success Key Stakeholders - Internal Head - Liquid Terminal Operation Head - Liquid Terminal Head of Section - LT Jetty Head of Section - LT - Control Room Other Department Heads Direct reportees Key Stakeholders - External Prospective clients government and regulatory bodies Trade groups Competitors Qualifications EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS degree training or certification required B tech Mechanical Diploma Mechanical or chemical B sc M sc RELEVANT EXPERIENCE no of years of technical functional and or leadership experience or specific exposure required
