Our co-workers will work in cross-functional teams together with our other digital hubs in Sweden, Amsterdam, Madrid, Shanghai and Philadelphia.You closely collaborate with the People and Culture, Service Operation team and Assistant and Business Coordination team based in other sites. You will share the goal to enable our co-workers to do their best work. At IKEA we call this role Business Coordinator. **Who you are** You are the friendly face of our workspace, curious about your colleagues, you are a person who loves to socialize and bring people together. You are detail oriented with an ability to share ideas and improvements. You’re also great at prioritizing your work and bring:
- A degree with minimum 5 years’ experience working as Executive Assistant to Senior Leadership (or similar roles). And a willingness to not only work toward an Executive but a broader Team with a great variety on tasks in a fast paced Digital environment
- Digital savvy, with relevant experience of bringing people together in an online and offline, customer focused environment (experience at our IKEA store or another tech/ start-up is another pro)
- Passionate about engagement and building a community actively contributing to IKEA’s company culture.
- Pro-active, service minded and result oriented. Bring energy and willingness to do what is needed to get things done.
- Building and maintaining relationships with employees and suppliers will allow you to be successful in this role; moreover, you will be the first contact person for Digital co-workers.
- A team player that is open to both share ideas and discuss better ways to work with your colleagues
- Excellent written and spoken English within a Business Environment, additional European languages is a plus.
- Constantly striving towards continuous improvement and innovation.
- Flexible and engaging with resilience, drive, and self-motivation.
- Have excellent communication skills and don’t mind speaking in front of larger groups, enjoys finding ways to meaningfully engage with different audiences.
What you will doAs Business Coordinator you fill in a broad role with a diverse portfolio of responsibilities related to the Digital Community:
- On-and offboarding; you welcome our new hires and support their onboarding, coordinating a perfect onboarding experience for every new co-worker.
- Internal communications, community building activities and (on-&offline) event planning; you will be a key organizer for events within the Bayanhult office and you are full of ideas to make these fun and unique: scheduling, owning, crafting, delivering and maintaining engaging content via multiple channels.
- Administrative support as well as practical tasks to offload Managers and Teams within Group Digital, organizing meetings, support with tools/ systems and smaller projects and assignments.
- You will have an active role enabling leaders and teams to become self-sufficient, with continuous focus on improving the administrative landscape, processes and tools, to improve effectiveness.
- Being part of Business coordination team, you will have a close and active collaboration within the team.
