**Description**
A research opportunity is available in our R&D (Mycology and Microbiology) Division for individuals seeking to gain experience in the field of Mycology research. For qualified, motivated applicants, this position offers exposure to classical and molecular taxonomy. Depending on qualifications and
experience, this may include but is not limited to, opportunities to provide supervised assistance in areas such as:
1. Fungal taxonomy
2. Handling the cultures of different species of macro
- and micro-fungi
3. Could be actively engaged in ongoing projects
4. Exposure to applied mycology
5. Data management, analysis, and report preparation.

**Minimum Position Requirements**
Project Scientist: Ph.D. in macrofungal taxonomy
or
Project Associate: M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in macrofungal taxonomy
- Publication in peer reviewed journals on fungal taxonomy will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and detail oriented.
- Will require to sign an agreement to keep client and trade secrets confidential.
- Must agree to operate under the values and ethics of Gaiagen Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
