We are urgently looking for **"Legal Advisor"** in one of the Manufacturing Industry.

**Location - **Kalupur, Ahmedabad

**Experience -** 2-5 Years

**Job Description -**

1. FSSAI Compliance:

- Stay abreast of FSSAI regulations and guidelines affecting the edible oil industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure full compliance with FSSAI standards throughout the production, distribution, and marketing processes.

2. Regulatory Liaison:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with FSSAI authorities and other regulatory bodies in Gujarat.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for approvals, licenses, and inspections related to edible oil production.

3. Documentation and Record Keeping:

- Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation systems to track compliance with FSSAI regulations.
- Ensure all necessary records, licenses, and certifications are up-to-date and readily available for inspection.

4. Litigation Management:

- Collaborate with external legal counsel to handle litigation matters, including disputes related to FSSAI compliance.
- Represent the company's legal interests in local courts and alternative dispute resolution processes.

5. Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and distributors, ensuring FSSAI compliance is reflected in all agreements.
- Mitigate legal risks through thorough contract review and negotiation.

6. Environmental Compliance:

- Collaborate with environmental compliance teams to ensure production processes align with FSSAI guidelines.
- Address legal considerations related to waste management and environmental impact.

7. Manage the process of trademark registration, renewal, and maintenance.
- Monitor and take action against any unauthorized use or infringement of trademark

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) additional certification or postgraduate studies in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Legal Officer or in a similar role within the FMCG edible oil industry, with a strong focus on FSSAI compliance and litigation management.
- In-depth knowledge of FSSAI regulations, Gujarat's legal framework, and litigation procedures.
- Strong communication skills in English and Gujarati.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
