**Location: Kolkata and Mysore, India**:**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Core Expertise with Embedded Firmware/Software Testing or System Testing, developing, and automating test plans, and tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
- Develop system test strategies, test plans, and execute software/firmware testing, along with developing test automation framework and test scripts.
- Conducts log analyses to identify where an issue has occurred and makes recommendations for how to address the issues.
- Detects bugs in testing code and resolves issues using more advanced debugging approaches.
- Well versed with Design & Development (SDLC & STLC) Methodologies
- Agile, Waterfall, Scrum.
- Carry out tests independently as per the product standards.
- Ability to understand as read/write C/C++ basic codes, provide first level analysis of issues, and propose fixes/solutions.
- Ability to test and validate the communication modules for meters, DCU, Modem, RF equipment’s & understand the technologies (Web GUI, HES(GPRS/GPS), MDM/MDAS) used in the meter communication as per metering standards.
- Working on various testing tools: Inhouse & integrated software’s & various embedded interfaced devices tools, debugging tools like Wireshark, Gurux etc. compatible with metering standard.

- Knowledge of test process, test plans, test cases.
- DLMS (mandatory)
- IS-15959.
- Knowledge of Energy Meters, Functionality.
- Degree in Electronics, ICT, Computer sciences or similar.
- Hands on experience in writing Test Plan and Test Cases for Field Scenarios.
- Knowledge of DLMS protocol as per IS15959.
- Preferred to have Smart metering background.
- Extensive knowledge of, and experience in, Embedded Testing.
