**About the Role**:

**The Role**: Application Associate, V isible Alpha - Financial Modeling
As corporate finance and Excel modeling experts, Application Associates spend their time consulting with c lients about our Excel add-in solutions (C apital IQ Pro / Capital IQ / V isible Alpha ) and how best to implement S&P Global data withi n their financial models. The m odels involved are related to valuation, ownership, estimates, charts, and other content sets. Application Associates also create and convert financial models from competing platforms for our c lients. Additionally, Application Associates build and maintain ~500 pre-built templates made available via the combined C apital IQ Pro, C apital IQ and Visible Alpha Excel add-in Template Librar ies.
**The Impact**: The Financial Modeling Group is one of the primary touchpoints for our c lients, and you will be the face of the organization. Your regular day would require you to build models, screens, presentations, answer c lient queries and be an advocate of our products while showcasing your vast knowledge of our tools and data. In addition to working with our c lients, you will also work with our Commercial team on winning and retaining business, with our Product team on future enhancements, and with our C lient Services team on training, requests and c lient queries.

**Responsibilities**:
A ct as a Subject Matter Expert on Visible Alpha data and leverage existing capabilities to create new and innovative solutions.
Ability to understand client-specific requirements across all covered data sets and products.
Work with clients across multiple geographies including North America, EMEA and APAC and address their requirements.
Create quantitative models, screens and presentations, among others, for our c lients using our suite of products.
Partner with Product Management on timely and thorough testing of our products, with an eye towards an exceptional c lient experience.
Consistently make proactive suggestions around product usability, presentation and data quality.
Drive Team initiatives and knowledge - sharing activities to support the culture of learning and development.
Create new opportunities for Automation and LEAN to improve workflow efficiency.
**What W e’re L ooking F or**:Basic Qualifications**:
Master’s Degree in Finance or Business.
0 to 2 years of experience.
Strong understanding and knowledge of the fundamentals of business, financial statements and investments. Proficient in research and analysis.
Good knowledge and understanding of capital and commodity markets.
Inclination towards the c lient -oriented approach.
Succinct communication skills and s trong collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with little supervision.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
VBA Knowledge is a plus.
