We are currently seeking a **Field Application Scientist - Pharmaceutical** responsible for supporting customers in the pharmaceutical industry, both on and offsite. This position requires the scientist to travel to customer sites across an assigned territory providing method development, troubleshooting and training support. You might also be required to work at our Applications Lab, when needed to support investigations and marketing collateral generation. **This Job requires the associate to be in Ahmedabad, Gujarat state.**

**What we’ll get you doing**:

- Assisting customers with their chromatography challenges via onsite demos, method development, and troubleshooting.
- Creating and presenting seminars at customer sites.
- Creating technical content (Tech Notes, Webinars, Tradeshow Posters, etc.) to showcase Phenomenex products to a global audience.

**The essential requirements of the role include**:

- B.Sc. in Chemistry/ B.Pharm. with 12+ years of relevant experience on HPLC/UHPLC in Analytical R&D OR M.Sc. in Chemistry /M.Pharm. with 10+ years of HPLC/UHPLC method development experience in Analytical R&D.
- Experience developing, HPLC/UHPLC-UV/DAD/ELSD assays for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceutical formulations, which includes having a deep understanding of method parameters as well as mobile and stationary phase’s selectivity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ease with public speaking, along with interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills as this role will be responsible for managing and executing their own schedule.
- Willing to relocate (if necessary) and travel up to 50% domestically.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
- Ability to adapt to and handle competing departmental needs.
- Experience with sample preparation techniques such as Solid Phase Extraction (SPE).
