**Job Title: Academic Dean - Business School**

**Job Summary**:
The Academic Dean of the Business School is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the academic and operational aspects of the institution. This includes curriculum development, faculty management, student success, accreditation compliance, and fostering industry partnerships. The Dean will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of excellence in business education and research.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Leadership**:

- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of academic programs.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of academic excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and student engagement.
- **Faculty Management**:

- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members to maintain high teaching and research standards.
- Foster faculty development through training programs, workshops, and research opportunities.
- Ensure faculty adherence to institutional policies and academic integrity.
- **Student Success**:

- Develop initiatives to enhance student learning outcomes and career readiness.
- Address student concerns related to academic performance and progression.
- Collaborate with student services to provide support for academic advising, internships, and placements.
- **Strategic Planning and Administration**:

- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the business school's vision and mission.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and operational planning for the school.
- Foster partnerships with industry leaders, alumni, and community stakeholders to enhance the school's reputation.
- **Accreditation and Compliance**:

- Lead the accreditation and reaccreditation processes with accrediting bodies.
- Ensure adherence to academic policies, governance structures, and compliance regulations.
- **University Relations**:

- Collaborate with other academic units within the university to promote interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Ensure alignment of business school objectives with the university's strategic goals.
- Act as a liaison between the business school and university leadership.
- **External Relations and Partnerships**:

- Represent the business school at conferences, networking events, and public engagements.
- Develop strategic alliances with corporate partners and professional organizations.
- Drive initiatives for fundraising, sponsorships, and endowments.

**Qualifications**:

- A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of academic and administrative experience in higher education, preferably in a business school setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and faculty management.

**Reporting To**:

- Program Director of the Business School or equivalent authority.

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
