**Job Title**: Head of the Department - BBA

**Reporting To**: Principal / Academic Dean
**Job Purpose**:
To provide academic leadership, manage day-to-day departmental operations, ensure quality teaching and curriculum delivery, and foster an environment conducive to academic excellence and professional development in the BBA department.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Academic Leadership**:
- Lead the BBA department in academic planning, curriculum development, and implementation.
- Ensure alignment with university/college academic standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote innovative teaching-learning methodologies and industry-integrated practices.
- **Administration & Management**:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of faculty members, supporting staff, and students.
- Prepare departmental budgets, timetables, and workload allocation.
- Conduct departmental meetings and maintain academic discipline.
- **Faculty Development**:
- Mentor and support faculty in their professional growth and academic contributions.
- Organize faculty development programs, seminars, and workshops.
- **Student Development**:
- Monitor student progress and take proactive measures for academic improvement.
- Support placement, internship, and career guidance initiatives for BBA students.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure adherence to academic policies and accreditation standards (e.g., NAAC, NBA).
- Coordinate internal assessments, feedback collection, and continuous evaluation.
- **Industry & Academic Collaboration**:
- Build linkages with industry, alumni, and other academic institutions.
- Facilitate guest lectures, industrial visits, and live projects for experiential learning.
- **Research and Publications**:
- Encourage faculty and students to undertake research and publish in reputed journals.
- Organize conferences, symposiums, and case study competitions.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Ph.D. or master’s degree (MBA/M.Com/Equivalent) in Management or Commerce.
- Minimum 8-10 years of teaching/academic experience, with leadership or administrative exposure.
- Strong knowledge of BBA curriculum and academic regulations.
**Skills Required**:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving ability.
- Familiarity with NAAC/NBA/UGC/AICTE norms.
- Proficient in the use of academic management software and digital tools.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
