The Retail Supervisor (Fresh Food)
Will share passion, knowledge, and interesting facts about produce and suppliers.
The role carries a high level of health and safety responsibility with regard to
food hygiene and safety of equipment. Relevant Retail NVQ or
equivalent
Key responsibilities
of the Food Retail Supervisor are to develop strong supplier relationships, to
create an enticing and welcoming environment and to lead a team that
provides exemplary customer service.
Previous people leadership experience in a Fresh Food environment
A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
A passion for creativity and keen eye for detail
The ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames
Ensuring a great level of service for our fresh food customers
Overseeing the production and quality of our products ensuring the best for our customers
Having sole charge in the absence of the department manager
Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff, and contractors
Stock management including checking, rotating (date checks),
ordering and taking deliveries (checking against invoices and delivery
notes)
Visitor satisfaction, delivering first class customer service through
appropriate engagement, communication, and product knowledge
sharing. To include product upselling and helping customers
Pay: ₹244,015.00 - ₹496,827.00 per year
