**Role Overview**

The MIS Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's data management systems, generating reports, analysing data, and ensuring smooth flow of information to support decision-making processes. This role involves working closely with various departments to collect, organize, and analyse data to provide actionable insights.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Data Management and Analysis**:

- Collect, compile, and analyse data from various sources.
- Maintain and update databases, ensuring data accuracy and security.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc MIS reports for management.

2. **Report Generation**:

- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports based on organizational needs.
- Create dashboards to visualize data trends and insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to management.

3. **System Management**:

- Ensure the MIS system runs efficiently and meets business requirements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT for resolution.
- Suggest and implement improvements in the data management process.

4. **Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Work with various departments to understand their data and reporting needs.
- Provide support in automating repetitive reporting tasks.
- Train team members in using MIS tools and generating reports.

5. **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure data management practices comply with organizational policies and regulations.
- Maintain documentation for processes, reports, and system updates.

**Skills and Qualifications**

**Education**:

- degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in MIS or a similar role.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially **Excel (advanced level)**, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle large datasets and maintain data integrity.

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
- Experience in automating reporting processes.
