Scope Of Work*- Primary- Shared Across Functionally- Group Leader is responsible for overall performance of various projects / sub - groups of the department assigned to him/her
- Ensure Discipline procedures, Company procedures, Quality procedures are followed in the execution of the work.
- Ensure the timely issue of engineering deliverables as per the project schedule within Controlled Man-hours allocated.
- Ensure Error free deliverables to Customer
- Review of project activity control status
- Identifying Risks in engineering and the required mitigation
- Participation in inter department meetings, client’s meetings, as required
- Coordination with DM/DDM from other disciplines, vendors & client.
- Support to Planning/Projects for the schedule & progress reporting.
- Ensure implementation of Lesson Learnt from previous projects.
- Participating in ISO 9001, Audits (Internal / External)
- Lead a team of engineers, designers & draftsmen to execute activities in the discipline
- Support LEs during Vendor Engineering cycle of equipment
- Thoroughly conversant with selection of static machinery ; Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Cryogenic and storage tanks, pressure vessels
- Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface during various ongoing projects
- Support/ implement departmental quality management programs
- Provide technical guidance to task force members during erection and commissioning for static equipment with all other disciplines
- Relationships Management*- Internal- External- Interaction with other discipline FHs, EMT and PMT- Interaction with Clients / Third party contractors- Key Result Areas*- Quality of deliverables issued by discipline
- Adherence by team to the project schedule during issue of deliverables
- Internal training records
- Bring-in improvement in the engineering systems and alternatives through value engineering commissioning of static equipment systems -Trouble-shoot and resolve site problems
- Attendance at project kick-off meetings
