Role & responsibilities

  • Support the mechanical engineering activities for FEED and detailed design phases for Static, Rotary , Packages and General Mechanical Equipment related to the Urea and Ammonia Green Field Projects.
  • Perform mechanical design calculations, prepare equipment datasheets, specifications, and technical evaluations.
  • Review and approve vendor documentation for mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, electrical, instrumentation, civil, etc.) to ensure integrated design solutions for the plant.
  • Support the development of piping layouts, material selection, stress analysis, and preparation of pipe supports, hangers, and brackets.
  • Ensure the safe and effective operation of rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.), including specification, selection, and maintenance planning.
  • Perform site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design requirements and resolve any issues during construction and commissioning.
  • Assist with the preparation of project schedules and deliverables, ensuring on-time completion of mechanical engineering tasks.
  • Provide technical support to the procurement team during the selection of mechanical equipment and materials.
  • Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting for mechanical systems, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
