**Job Title**: Server Administrator (Data Centre, Back-up Administrator)
**Location**: Lonavala, Maharashtra
**Salary Range**: ₹ 4,00,000 - ₹ 8,00,000 per annum

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain data centre server infrastructure (primarily Linux-based), ensuring uptime and efficient performance.
- Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware and software issues on Linux systems.
- Administer backup solutions, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting backups in a Linux environment.
- Ensure data integrity and system security through regular updates, patch management, and Linux system hardening.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and test recovery procedures, particularly in Linux systems.
- Optimize storage capacity and manage server performance to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to maintain data centre security protocols, especially on Linux platforms.
- Perform regular audits and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Document server configurations, backup procedures, and disaster recovery strategies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, B. Tech/BCA/MCA/B.E.
- Proven experience in server administration and data centre management, particularly in Linux-based environments.
- Strong understanding of backup and recovery solutions in Linux systems.
- Experience with Linux virtualization, cloud services, and storage management is a plus.
- Knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and data protection in Linux systems.
- Proficiency in system monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques for Linux servers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
