**Good Business Lab **(GBL) is an independent, non-profit labor innovation company. We use rigorous academic research to prove that worker wellbeing programs have business impacts. We develop market-ready, scalable interventions that benefit both workers and businesses. Our goal is to disrupt the traditional notion of business, and show that worker wellbeing can be a good business practice.

**GBL Summer Internship Program for Research interns**:_For this cohort, we are actively looking to host students from SC/ST/OBC as part of our affirmative action (AA) initiative. AA also extends to Denotified and nomadic tribes (DNT) and Semi Nomadic Tribes (SNT). 50% of internship positions have been reserved for students from historically marginalized/oppressed backgrounds, who are underrepresented in the development ecosystem._**

**Location**:Delhi/Bangalore/Remote

**Internship Duration**: Minimum 3 months

**Type of Internship**: Full time, paid

**Start Date**: Immediate

**Stipend**: INR 15,000/ month

**What will you do?**:
As an integral part of the Finance and Procurement Department, the intern will be involved in enhancing financial and procurement processes, reviewing contracts, setting up process guidelines, and contributing to the overall efficiency of financial operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and procurement within a dynamic and impactful organization.Assisting in stakeholder management

**Responsibilities**:

- **Process Improvement and Documentation**:Assist in analyzing current financial and procurement processes, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to the development of streamlined procedures and guidelines.
- **Contract Review and Guidelines Framing**:Support the review of contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals. Help in framing clear guidelines for procurement and financial operations.
- **Microsoft Office Proficiency**:Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills to create financial models, process flows, and documentation.
- **Procurement Support**:Aid in the procurement process by evaluating suppliers and preparing purchase orders.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in Microsoft Excel and Word, particularly in creating process flows, analysing data, and document preparation.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Initiative and enthusiasm for learning and contributing to the success of the team.
