Job Description About our group: Seagate's Wafer Operations Photolithography Process Engineering organization is seeking an Engineering Intern to conduct trials and participate in continuous improvement projects during summer 2026. This position will be located in Seagate's Bloomington, MN facility. About the role - you will: - Develop technical understanding of one or more Photolithography process tools used in the wafer manufacturing process, as well as the process responses - Perform process trials, working in a cleanroom environment to complete product trials and process improvements for Seagate's recording head products - Utilize software tools as needed for data analysis and presentation to complete projects and assist Photo engineers. About you: - Interest in nano-fabrication processes/operations - Statistics and Data Analysis experience using MatLab, R, Excel, JMP or Python. - Strong Communication skills - Highly motivated and self-directed Your experience includes: - Completed at least two years of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Material Science and enrolled in Fall 2026 classes. Location: Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate also offers Interns12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.
