It aims at providing training in analytical and soft skills to students of Engineering colleges appearing for campus placements. In spite of their sound technical knowledge, the engineering students often struggle in placements due to weak analytical and soft skills. Slot Zero aims at preparing the students in these skills so that every student can give a fair attempt to get into his/her Dream Company. The USP of the firm is to provide personalized training to the students. It involves three stages: The pre course analysis of the student profiles through continuous interaction, personalized training during the course, and the post course mentoring to enhance the abilities attained during the course of study. This will help in realizing the mission of finding the right job for every person and right person for every job. Initially Slot Zero is targeting colleges in Mumbai. It has already conducted a pre launch survey to understand what the students actually require/want. The survey was conducted in August, 2007 and clearly revealed a huge demand for such courses. It also helped in structuring the requirement and focus areas for the course. As of now Slot Zero has entered into collaboration with three engineering colleges in Mumbai and will be conducting its classroom program in these colleges in the near future. Besides classroom training Slot Zero also plans to conduct mock tests/ Group Discussions/ Interviews etc. It will also help the students in CV preparations and in getting information about various companies. Team Slot Zero is a robust team of 12 students - all engineers, from different disciplines. All 12 are highly focused and passionate about the business venture they are making and understand the responsibility they have towards the students in offering such a course. The members range from fresher to people with more than 4 years of industry experience. The mix is just right to help the team understand the market demand on both sides - student as well as the industry
