Key Responsibilities

Factory Production Management

  • Full responsibility of production planning, scheduling & execution (target 200–600 windows per month)
  • Manage profile cutting, fabrication, assembly, glass toughening coordination, hardware fitting & packing
  • Optimise material usage (uPVC & aluminium profiles, glass, hardware) and reduce wastage below 2%
  • Implement and monitor daily production targets, quality checks & ISO-type processes
  • Handle multiple profile systems: Rehau, Kommerling, Veka, Fenesta, Aluplast, Schuco, Lingling, Geeta, etc.
  • Coordinate with purchase department for timely raw material availability
  • Maintain & improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of all machines (cutting, welding, CNC, routing, water slot, etc.)

Installation & Site Management

  • Plan and execute pan-India or regional installations through own + subcontractor teams
  • Allocate site supervisors & labour gangs project-wise
  • Ensure 100% on-time delivery & installation with zero leakage & perfect finishing
  • Handle high-end products: Lift & slide, slide & fold, curtain walls, structural glazing, skylights, atriums, spider glazing, ACP cladding, SS & glass railings, frameless shower partitions
  • Conduct site inspections, solve technical issues, and give final handover with client sign-off
  • Control site wastage, breakages and extra costs

Team & P&L Responsibility

  • Lead a team of 20-30 people (Factory: fabricators, QC, store; Site: supervisors, fitters, helpers)
  • Recruitment, training, performance appraisal & discipline of production & installation staff
  • Monthly P&L review of production & installation departments (cost control, profitability)
  • Prepare and control yearly budgets for both departments

Systems & Reporting

  • Implement or improve ERP/software usage (Fenesoft, Orgawin, EVA Cloud, custom ERP)
  • Daily/weekly/monthly MIS on production output, dispatch status, installation completion, pending orders
  • Regular meetings with sales, purchase & accounts teams for smooth coordination

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 4-6 years in uPVC + Aluminium windows & facade industry
  • Must have worked as Factory In-charge OR Installation Head OR both for at least 5–7 years
  • In-depth technical knowledge of:
  • All uPVC & aluminium systems (casement, sliding, lift & slide, curtain wall, etc.)
  • Structural glazing, spider glazing, skylights, ACP, railings
  • DGU, toughened glass, hardware (ROTO, GU, Siegenia, Dorma, Kinlong, Hafele)
  • Strong man-management & leadership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability on site and in factory
  • Good communication in English + Hindi (client & architect handling)
  • Willing to travel extensively for site visits & project reviews
