**Cloud Operations Supervisor**

**SUMMARY**

The Cloud Supervisor plays a hands-on role in the daily operations and maintenance of our organization's cloud infrastructure. This individual will ensure optimal performance, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based solutions, while guiding a team of cloud engineers or technicians.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** Cloud Operations**: Oversee the day-to-day operations of cloud environments, including deployment, configuration, and resource management.
- ** Monitoring and Troubleshooting**: Proactively monitor cloud environments, identify performance issues, and lead troubleshooting efforts.
- ** Incident Management**: Respond to and resolve cloud-related incidents swiftly, minimizing downtime and impact to the business.
- ** Security and Compliance**: Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect cloud assets. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
- ** Automation**: Develop and implement scripts and tools to automate routine cloud management tasks.
- ** Team Leadership**: Mentor and guide cloud engineers or technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
- ** Capacity Planning**: Monitor resource utilization and assist in capacity planning for future cloud needs.
- ** Cost Optimization**: Analyze cloud usage and identify areas for cost savings and optimization.
- ** Vendor Management**: Collaborate with cloud service providers and manage relationships effectively.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud operations or engineering.
- Proven experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Certifications in cloud technologies are highly valued.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization concepts.
- Proficiency with cloud monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
