**Job Title**: Production Supervisor
**Department**: Manufacturing/Production
**Reports To**: Production Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in the manufacturing process. This role involves coordinating with production staff, monitoring workflows, and ensuring production targets are met while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production workers.
- Ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Enforce safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high product standards.
- Train and mentor production staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and other key metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Work Environment**:

- Work is primarily conducted in a manufacturing setting.
- May involve exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy materials.
