Construction Supervisor

**Location**: PM Palem, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

**About the Role**:As a **Construction Supervisor** at **IITDM Vizag**, you will play a key role in overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring seamless execution of projects with strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for managing the workforce, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Your expertise in construction processes, leadership, and problem-solving skills will be essential in delivering successful infrastructure projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily on-site activities, ensuring projects stay on track with schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain efficiency and a structured work environment.
- Perform routine site inspections to verify adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks, and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and take preventive measures to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Track material and equipment inventory, manage procurement, and ensure resources are available on time to prevent disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, monitor project progress, and document any issues; prepare reports for project managers and senior leadership.
- Identify and address potential project challenges, implementing corrective measures to avoid delays and cost escalations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local building regulations, environmental policies, and safety standards.

Qualification Skills
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in site supervision or construction management.
- In-depth understanding of construction techniques, materials, structural drawings, and project management methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and drive high productivity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in construction management software, MS Office Suite, and AutoCAD (preferred).
- Relevant safety certifications (OSHA, First Aid, etc.) will be an added advantage.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Pay**: ₹**240,000 -**₹**300,000**per year
