Logistics Executive

**Position Title**: Logistics & Supply Chain Assistant Manager
**Location**:Pardi & Dungra-Vapi

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Logistics Management**:

- Oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and materials.
- Coordinate transportation logistics, including selecting carriers, route optimization, and managing freight costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, import/export regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and handle any logistics-related issues or emergencies.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels for both raw materials and finished goods.
- Work closely with the production and procurement teams to anticipate material needs and prevent stock outs.
- Implement and maintain systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
- Manage warehouse operations and ensure proper storage conditions for plastic products.
- **Supply Chain Coordination**:

- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to optimize the supply chain process.
- Analyze and improve the efficiency of the supply chain, focusing on cost reduction and process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of demand forecasts and production planning to align with customer orders and market demands.
- **Data Management and Reporting**:

- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and supply chain KPIs.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement systems for real-time tracking and reporting of supply chain metrics.
- **Team Collaboration and Leadership**:

- Provide leadership and guidance to logistics and supply chain teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Assist in the development and training of team members on best practices in logistics, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure that materials meet production schedules and quality standards.
- **Supplier and Vendor Management**:

- Manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal service and pricing.
- **Cost Management and Budgeting**:

- Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage logistics and supply chain budgets.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain process.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, technology, and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the plastic manufacturing or related industries.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, logistics systems, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations, warehousing standards, and import/export processes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Leadership skills and experience managing or mentoring teams.
- Knowledge of the plastic manufacturing industry and related supply chain requirements is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in the plastic industry, such as recycling and reducing carbon footprint in the supply chain.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
